about the banner, any max sizes ? fileformat ?

banner will show after video. Click in display will go to your site. This is the best spot possible.

At this time easiest way is with a JPG file, GIF and PNG should be suported.
Size is 400x300 for normal 4x3 movies and 500x280 for wide format (filmed in HD). Different sizes will be streched to fit the player. I will host some banners for some usuall sponsors.
From admin if you click on preview you will see how your banner will go. On preview from admin your banner will be shown 100% of the request while on the main site will run for the personal level (25% this month)
Clicks does not carry referal so if you use your site then additional traffic will not appear as comming from xclicks, it will be no reff, bookmarks or both depending of your tracking script.

1)if a view a movie of my own by clicking the link on my website, only 25% chance it will display my banner? So no extra real ad income for webmasters? Or will the banner be displayed on other ppl's vids as well (depending on the traffic you send in?)
bec otherwise its rather a disadvantage, ppl coming from your site hardly gonna click a banner back to your site, so they ll only cick the 75% the other banner and will go away from your site...

2) categories : there is no 'normal sex' option when selecting sex

1) Banner will be displayed to all people no matter where they are coming in from. At this time there is no advance rule, like to be able to display multiple banners or to display a banner to people coming from your site and a different banner to people coming from xvideohost but I'm working on that. So for now you get the most from your video by putting a banner to a second site of yours or a sponsor.

In order to have a not stretched banner you need to have a 400x300 picture. This can be a small whatever filled up to 400x300 with black

2) When selecting sex you get 3 options - straight (man-> woman) gay and lesbian. So normal should go here and having hardcore as a subcategory.

At the beginning I thought I should put couples there so I'm still undecided. The main idea is to make it easy for somebody who comes to xvideohost from a search engine to select what they want to see. At this time there are straight, gay and lesbian videos so if a gay guy lands on xvideohost it is obvious they will not be interested unless they will have an option for single man and or gay sex.

whats the point in submitting a different banner if you can only put up one link?

you always want a link to your site in case someone views the vid from a different site then yours.... but then you cant submit a link for the banner.

additional remark : there isnt an option : white girl, only asian,latin etc

I'm working to a way of having 2 or more links with some rules. In this way you may be able to have a link to your site whne people are not comming from your site and a link to a different place when people comes from your site. You will be able to submit 2 banners separated with a comma and 2 links having this simple rule you are intrested in enabled.

You can link to asponsor. I saw some accounts doing this way. They have watermark with theirs site name and a link to a sponsor. I do not know if it is a good strategy or not.

thas a hard one, you should first check if there arent to many categories (dont make to many)

on the otherhand cell phone vids have different quality and different audience that wants to watch them...

btw you should work out a better system of when the banner gets displayed its kinda unfair ... after ten time clicking my own files on my website where i post them , 9/10 the same TGP got his banner up it.... i rather have no link to a other site then having this..; no offense but it makes you loose visitors faster then gaining.

That is weird. If you reload the page it should change. At this time it is setup to 25% and that is done by hardcoding a random number.

Try pressing Ctr F5 this will force a full reload with no caching. You can setup the out to a counter to get a better result.
