Hi,
i have now 1 star while a few weeks back i always had 4-5 stars..
i havent changed anything, im even sending more traffic on average..

it seems the star thinghy is however effecting the traffic out to my site... traffic out dropped around 2,5 times from what it was before.
pls correct this issue.. otherwise i dont see a reason in linking to this site anymore since the return traffic is getting to low.

Hi,
That user rating was did manually and use to show the allowance number for video to be posted on 24 hours which will show on the Last Additions and Featured pages. That is not direct related with traffic back, but if you will have more movies posted on first site then you will get more traffic back.

Lately I've been confronted with a few issues:
- About 50-100 new movies added for 24 hours
- Some users posts about 20 videos while others post 1 or 2
- Some users sent traffic while others doesn't sent any

So I have to come up with some screening procedure. First answer is obvious, most traffic in more video posted on xvideohost. Now the hard part:
- Some users post 20 movies but link let's say only from their sites so they send some traffic. Others link all their movies.

Based on these observations I came up with some calculation, called sent in per movie in last 72 hours. In this way if you can have more videos posted on website. Even so this is not fair enough cause does not cover this 2 situation:
- User has a registered xclicks trade
- User does not post his entire allowance of videos

For example in your situation, last 72 hours you have 8 posted videos with a sent in of 35 to this videos. Checking xclicks trades stats I noticed your site is #2 at this time. This is because you decided to reuse some of your videos and sent most of the traffic to older videos. There is nothing wrong with reusing old videos on your site but this will diminish the amount of traffic to your site because less people other then the ones from your sites will see your videos. To make things even worst when I designed most popular last week and most popular last month section selection is restricted to movies posted last week respectively last month so your movie will not appear on that section.

After this observations it is obvious I should add a few improvements/changes to xvideohost.

Here is what I have in mind:
- change most popular sections to be traffic related only regardless of posting date
- add an integration between trades and videos shown on last addition and or featured page
- change the featured videos to show only videos with traffic in

yea i see, i post 2-3 movies uploaded here every day on my blog, however i sometimes have like a month in which i have better things to do then updating my blog; so i take 1 weekend and upload all i can and post those vids over the next weeks... it works a lot faster to do it like that then uploading each day a few videos and writing the posts.

I hope you can find a solution for it because i really saw my traffic from your site going from 2000-2500 to 800; and 800 isnt really worth uploading vids.

altho i fully understand the restriction you have to do to keep your site topnotch. Maybe its time to switch to a lock up ? only webmasters verified and checked by you can log in and upload material; this way you can keep the bad ones out.
