urgent: xclicks layout error? ...

hey ...

since one hour people coming to my site seeing this:

even next to a thumb on my thumbtoplists this appears.
i did not chance anything... so it looks like this is a serverside error? ...
or did you implement an update to the site today (which may have not worked correctly).. ?

Hi,
There were implemented a few website updates to admin layout but nothing to affect display on your site.

Most probably you have another script which interfere with xclicks either by having same variable or by crashing.

There is no easy way to fix/debug it but you should create a page, lets say debug.htm and add there xclicks scripts, and if works then add more scripts till you find out what is wrong.

these are my sites. but all of them worked fine with xclicks until 2 hours ago. and these are completely different sites...

im really confused... as i really did not change one line of code within the last days on any site ...

it just happened ....


but i will try to find out (using your suggestion) what could be wrong there ...

this is the big header leaderbox banner from ero-advertising.
i removed it and the toplist in the header part is working normal now! ...
i cant believe it !!!

i will have to contact ero-advertising, if they have changed something ...
this problem would influence every site of every of your users, which are using ero-advertising .

i will try to find out, what is happening there ... and will post their reply here ...

You should use as much as possible iframe adds. They don't interfere and they don't slow you page loading. Most sponsors have this option.

ok..

the answer is quite simple ... eroadvertising changed something within their delivery. but they solved this now:

the problem was, that they used the same filenames as you do for some files.
so they gave those files different filemanes now and everything is working fine again !!!
